The Fund Lionel Van den Bossche, which is governed by the Koning Boudewijnstichting, awards each year innovative companies with young entrepeneurs to reduce the hurdles in entrepreneurship. This year REIN4CED was awarded with the first prize for its innovative projects as a young start-up company!
VLAIO (Flanders Innovation & Entrepreneurship) supports REIN4CED in its search towards optimalisation of 3D-printed parts with composite materials.
On April 20 and 21, REIN4CED will be present at the Materials 2016 trade fair in Veldhoven, Netherlands.
Standard carbon fibre tubes offer a weight saving of ±60% compared to aluminium tubes. They are widely available and hence a cost-effective solution to reduce the weight of components. REIN4CED can 3D-print carbon fibre connections for these tube, which are both cost-effective and offer an additional weight-saving when connecting those tubes!
Our 3D print technology can be used to produce light and strong components which can be easily connected to other components through through the use of inserts.
